I live alone and nobody touches my Print2CAD Registration key.
Am I to assume that I click on each of the links you list and do what they say do? If so, I will even though I'll end up needing someone to do the hard parts. Like I said, I'm stupid.
- Clicked on AdwCleaner and took me to a page that said download now. Clicked on it and it didn't download anything but wanted me to fix Windows issues or something. It was listed as Highly Recommended. Clicked on that to fix my Window's issues and all I got was Script Error pop-ups continuously. In between the Script Errors I clicked on the Window's issues download and it didn't download anything. Don't know what I'm doing as I said. Will try the next link you list.
- Went to the next link, Malwarebytes, and I already have it on my computer but I never added the premium. So I clicked your link and clicked the 14 day free trial of the premium and it stated that if the download didn't start soon click on the Download Now button. I did that. NOTHING! on the next one.

- If you got redirected when you clicked on the AdwCleaner link, your issues are very deep. What "other program" did you install?
- If you had Malwarebytes, you should have just used that. I suggested not installing the pro version.
All I can suggest is to download the executable files on another computer that doesn't send you to the wrong site and then copy the files to the problem PC and install them. Other than that, you're looking at possibly reinstalling Windows.

I have not installed any new programs at all.
I only have the one laptop. No access to any others.
I already had the MalwareBytes and ran it a couple of days ago. Maybe 4 or 5. It showed I had about 1, threats which didn't surprise me since I hadn't ran it for about months. So I quarantined all the threats which I think is what I am suppose to do. I wanted to update any drivers, which was a big mistake, so I clicked on that site that looked honest. Ever since I've been having problems. I did uninstall it but it seems to be hanging on somehow. I get all these pop-up stating my drivers are out of date. I believe that but don't know what to do about it. More recently I've been getting a bunch of Script Error messages regardless of where I'm at. I must have a virus of some sort that keeps bugging me with the driver issues and now the script errors. My PC is running super slow also. It's old but has never ran this slowly before. Sometimes it takes minutes to open a page. May take longer for some pages as I get frustrated and quit the opening of the page after a long wait.
If I had to reinstall Windows, what would that entail and would it cost anything? I'm an old man on a small fixed income. Is it easy to re-install? Would I lose any of my files? Seems that Bruce has abandoned me so is there anyone else out there that can help me? I backed up all my personal files and now I want to restore my computer to factory settings. I live alone and nobody touches my computer.
Am I to assume that I click on each of the links you list and do what they say do? If so, I will even though I'll end up needing someone to do the hard parts. Like I said, I'm stupid.
- Clicked on AdwCleaner and took me to a page that said download now. Clicked on it and it didn't download anything but wanted me to fix Windows issues or something. It was listed as Highly Recommended. Clicked on that to fix my Window's issues and all I got was Script Error pop-ups continuously. In between the Script Errors I clicked on the Window's issues download and it didn't download anything. Don't know what I'm doing as I said. Will try the next link you list.
- Went to the next link, Malwarebytes, and I already have it on my computer but I never added the premium. So I clicked your link and clicked the 14 day free trial of the premium and it stated that if the download didn't start soon click on the Download Now button. I did that. NOTHING! on the next one.
Junkware Removal Tool. Clicked on it and it took me to the same site as the AdwCleaner thing went to. Same issues. Same results. NOTHING! Wanted me to fix the Window's errors again and I, like a dumb a.. clicked on it with same results with all the Script Error messages.
I give up for now unless you can steer me in the right direction.

- If you got redirected when you clicked on the AdwCleaner link, your issues are very deep. What "other program" did you install?
- If you had Malwarebytes, you should have just used that. I suggested not installing the pro version.
All I can suggest is to download the executable files on another computer that doesn't send you to the wrong site and then copy the files to the problem PC and install them. Other than that, you're looking at possibly reinstalling Windows.

I have not installed any new programs at all.
I only have the one laptop. No access to any others.
I already had the MalwareBytes and ran it a couple of days ago. Maybe 4 or 5. It showed I had about 1, threats which didn't surprise me since I hadn't ran it for about months. So I quarantined all the threats which I think is what I am suppose to do. I wanted to update any drivers, which was a big mistake, so I clicked on that site that looked honest. Ever since I've been having problems. I did uninstall it but it seems to be hanging on somehow. I get all these pop-up stating my drivers are out of date. I believe that but don't know what to do about it. More recently I've been getting a bunch of Script Error messages regardless of where I'm at. I must have a virus of some sort that keeps bugging me with the driver issues and now the script errors. My PC is running super slow also. It's old but has never ran this slowly before. Sometimes it takes minutes to open a page. May take longer for some pages as I get frustrated and quit the opening of the page after a long wait.
If I had to reinstall Windows, what would that entail and would it cost anything? I'm an old man on a small fixed income. Is it easy to re-install? Would I lose any of my files? I'll do it if you think it'll fix all these annoying issues. I have Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 (99% sure). Would getting Windows 10 solve the problems?

It doesn't affect any of your files. If a Refresh doesn't work, a Reset will set it back to factory settings and you will need to backup anything of importance.

I clicked on your link and this is the instructions I got to Refresh my computer:
To refresh your PCSwipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Recovery.
Under Refresh your PC without affecting your files, tap or click Get started.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
1. Swipe (?) in from right edge of screen. (???) I get nothing to tap and I don't understand what "Swipe" means. Click on it? I see nothing to click on or swipe. I am using a mouse but see no Settings to click on. Opened the gear icon and saw nothing there.
2., 3., 4., Can't do anything with them until I find what the heck I'm suppose to click on.
I'm so sorry Bruce but I told you I was a computer illiterate buffoon. Take a break. This can wait until morning, that is if you're still willing to try to help me. Thanks. so much for all you've done so far.
I'm going to have a doozy of a question if I have to Restore. Like what and how do I save all my files and the programs that I've downloaded over the years. That's a lot of saving. I've got some CDs I think the call them but don't know what's on them. Might have to sacrifice whatever is on them.

I found the icon that reserves Windows 10 for me. Is this a good thing? Will this change the way my computer has been acting? Should I download it when the send the notice to me to do so? I'm willing to do anything at this point to improve the performance of this piece of misery.

Seems that Bruce has abandoned me so is there anyone else out there that can help me? I backed up all my personal files and now I want to restore my computer to factory settings. I still can't figure out what it means to "swipe in from the right edge of the screen". I have Windows 7 not 8, if that helps anyone.
I was unable to do anything with my computer or the websites I go to. My websites wouldn't let me sign in or nothing. Some sites told me that I needed a cookie to access their site. I restored my computer to a different time, just 3 days earlier. It seemed to fix that immediate problem but I don't believe it's fixed any of the underlying problems my computer has. I ran MalwareBytes again and it came up with nothing. Did a disc cleanup and defragmented.
A computer geek once gave me a simple way to restore my computer by pushing 2 or 3 keys, and walla, it was restoring. Can someone give me that shortcut. I'll use it in a heartbeat.
